Pinto Anugrah started his writing career in 2005. Since then, he has achieved several writing awards, including from the Ministry of Youth and Sports in 2010 and Best Playscript by the Ministry of Education and Culture in 2017. He published his first novel, Jemput Terbawa (Mojok) in 2018. He was invited to Ubud Writer and Reader Festival 2011 and contributed in Padang Literary Biennal 2012 dan 2014.
