Alfian Dippahatang is active in Makassar Institute of Literature and Makassar Poetry Night. He has published poetry-collection books Semangkuk Lidah (2016), Dapur Ajaib (2017); novel Kematian Anda yang Tak Sia-sia (2018); and short-story collection Bertarung dalam Sarung (KPG, 2019). He was selected as Emerging Writer in Makassar International Writers Festival 2018 and invited to Mastera Literary Award 2018.
